A week or so ago    i said,  Out Loud,    ……   "I am tired of cloth".

I said it.  Felt myself saying it,  let myself be surprised to be saying it.

I'm thinking about that in the light of this:

"To inhabit silence in our aloneness is to stop telling the story altogether.    To begin with,   aloneness  always leads to   rawness   and vulnerability,   to a fearful simplicity,   to not recognizing and to not knowing,   to the wish to find company other than that not knowing,   unknown self,   looking back at us in the silent mirror."     David Whyte

Maybe what I was wanting to say was really,  that the story i have of myself no longer works.

But that's hard to understand.   So i said,  I am tired of cloth.

Maybe I am tired of pushing the old story around and into a New time that has no story yet?

I need to keep in mind that this Spring is like no other,  ever before.     I'm in  the same body,  this land is the same Place.  But otherwise,  everything is different.

I have chosen it to be this way.     I have waited for it to be this way.   But, I don't know it

because it hasn't happened yet.

To be in the not knowing
    is to be right now
    growing comfortable here.
(an impromptu switched up Haiku for you. The pattern of three lines should be 5-7-5, this is 7-5-7 as are all the ones on my recent post)

“.. pushing the old story around and into a New time that has no story yet”
    – a frustration for me, as well! but didn’t appreciate the fullness of this experience. your words make it clear. NEW TIME!
so now i’m even wondering ?? IS it the SAME BODY or are we physically changed by each second, within each breath ? and is land the SAME PLACE?
So much we don’t know, can’t see, the dimensions invisible to these human bodies!
Damn! these limitations are maddening sometimes. XThanksX

What you say here, about you…strikes a chord about similar feelings I’ve been having, but about me and maybe really not the same at all. Except I keep having the feeling that this year something is different and I don’t know what, but the whole start of it is off.

This made me wonder what true silence actually sounds like. As I share my life and home with another, I tend not to talk to myself out loud, but there is an endless soundtrack that runs in my head. Is sound-less-ness even possible?

well….those are THE QUESTIONS, aren’t they.
    invisible dimensions
maybe, some say not. But it takes inordinate devotion to know

maybe not to identify it as “off” might be the first thing
maybe to identify it as something we don’t understand?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS
and i think what is said on Harrod Buhner’s site….in his
biography, how he advocates for reincorporation of the exploratory artist, independent scholar, amature naturalist, and
    citizen scientist
    Citizen Scientist….yes. Citizen Scientist

    i think it is.
Meditation. To quiet that soundtrack, to not attend to it
until it ceases. Then there is simply the moment, the now.
There’s zillions written about this. I’m not the one to
    say much, except for myself

Sometimes I hate writing. I’m done with it till I’m not. Often I hate cooking, cleaning, art work, photographs, music, several friend. Then I don’t. If there’s one thing I’ve learned to tolerate about myself it’s my inconsistencies. Without them, no me.

Yes, not understood. But, trying to find words that capture a feeling, a sometimes fleeting feeling. A sometimes hanging around feeling. But one that hasn’t lent itself to words.

Sometimes we have to say things out loud to test the truth of the idea.
