i don't know where this piece of commercial cloth came from,  but sometimes it's Perfect.  How it will be perfect here,  i don't really know yet but i think it will.  So a large part of the day i moved scraps.

 

late morning, near noon i heard something.  

Nogal had trashed this wall of their hut.  It was on the ground.  Other boards attached to it.  In this pic it's propped back up,  him looking around from inside,  double click.  He was happy about having done it…..felt "effective".    I plugged in the battery to the drill,  let it charge,  then went out with the good hammer,  screws,  the drill,  a crowbar,  to try to figure out what to do next.  There are all kinds of large things that i've dragged home that would work for a wall but i can't move them alone.  So now what?….am thinking some kind of mending.  Maybe like integrated applique.  

In the morning,  because it's hot during the day and then they,  him and Tenzen get all spizzy when i'm out there working,  each trying to be the fancy~est,  and it's nerve wracking.  so i'll get back to it in the morning when they have their tubs of Alfalfa.

Giving water just now,  was to the young shelling peas that are at the base of the landscape tubs between the Coral Berry and the Golden Currant.  Just standing there,  holding the hose,  my eyes were open,  but i wasn't looking at anything in particular at all,  just somewhere Inside my Mind and

suddenly,  something said look

i focused down to the rim of one of the pots and Lo and BEHOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the almost tiniest Praying Mantis in my life time.    Other than the time i watched them birthing themselves from their egg case…..

This one,  smaller than …   / …..  that…. not as tall,  not as thick even,  but the same tilt and with all the arms and legs and HEAD that cocked to look at me and duck out of sight under the rim of the pot……

so both things….this incredibly BeautyFull Being itself  and too,  the brilliance of the primal mind that can recognize things so small,  so almost invisible  and say……LOOOOOOK!….something you LOVE!!!!

 

ADDENDUM

may 11th.   20016      It's hot.   It's Dark.   but Hot in the house.  Will leave the door OPEN tonight.  Tay sleeps on the porch.   Door Open.   Things can come in,  but,  things Can come in.   Early.  May 11.
