yes, but it’s maybe it’s about being in a trusting intimate relationship that makes room for the “no”, even if the trust is only with self. which i think is the holy place you and Wendy are talking about- self trust/knowing. (I may need more tea to be clearer.)

and i understand it because of the complete way i “heard” the words when she said them….i felt them with my whole beingness
and instantly recognized the fittingness of

I believe in this, that no is yes to something else. I know this. Having said that, with the children we work hard on saying yes more than no. 🙂
