i debated.  Both were "true" to the Cloth but…

it's the seven beads.  Seven black and white and then the one blood bead.  Here, thread beads from Jude.  In the past,  for so many years,  seed beads and the African blood bead.

And so.  What does it MEAN to me,  the 7 black and white and one red?

An Unknowable Order that just is.

a symbol of the source of all things out of which everything arises and into which everything resolves.

Un knowable.  Just is.  Some kind of natural order of the Universe and maybe more.

just

How Things Are.

it could have been a butterfly….this is as butterflies  are

No need Ro know. I feel the Resolve just looking at it. That’s Enough.

Yes,the unknown…and Yes, a bridge. It looks very balanced.
Seven and the multiple meanings ascribed to it from multiple sources and many disciplines is so interesting to me—this is just one: “Mahatma Gandhi’s list of the destructive Seven Blunders of the World that cause violence: Wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, commerce without morality, science without humanity, religion without sacrifice and politics without principle.”
The many others can be viewed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_%28number%29

One more thing—had to get my magnifying glass to look at her. She’s looking up and out I think and her arms outspread like she might fly. That puts a less ominous tilt on the image for me. Also the bridge and seven beads hangs in a space like a world womb. It’s really quite potent imagery.

am glad you got your glass…you see her as i hope she is
seen, but for me, not to fly, but simply reaching out,
    calling out,
the marks of the plant…how they Are that to me, the Earth
    Womb/body

    ominous…as Michelle said…
