and a beak.  one might think a beak would be easy to draw,  but not so much.  To make it  a Crow beak…such subtlety.  I think of Mo.

“Allegiance” such a fine word. Essentially – though it has many legal definitions and references to various Countries and Sovereigns – it’s simply an oath or pledge of fidelity to something, or someone.

Oh they are wonderful. The swans and snow geese are supposed to be back here but I haven’t seen any yet. And your sketch it reminds me… “When women were birds, there was the simple understanding that to sing at dawn and to sing at dusk was to heal the world through joy. The birds still remember what we have forgotten, that the world is meant to be celebrated.” Terry Tempest Williams

I’ve never seen those birds…cranes?…before. They are magnificent. The shot of 3…it feels like they were posing for you.
The past two nights I’ve had amazing dreams…one about how women heal…another about a life where my own mother was different, a better version who had more knowledge, more skill, more power and more to give than in this life. The dreams were healing for me, and today I feel a wholeness in my being, my center, that wasn’t there yesterday.
Then this morning, harvesting more vegetables from the plants that are still giving so generously…with my bare feet on the earth, thanking Her for all She gives.
