Hazel and Liz stitch words all the time, i thought of that today because i find it painful to stitch words, my thumb and wrist. Before sleep tonight, i'll apply the Arnica cream. Words hurt my hand. What does that mean? But hurt or not, i'll do it.
Stitching text can literally hurt your hands…you take smaller, finer stitches to make the words, putting added stress on your wrist and fingers.
This past week, I have become devoted to Arnica tablets, recuperating from dental surgery.

i will do it this ONCE…maybe twice, on both hooded sweatshirts. But no more. Turning and pulling the cloth, in this case the sweatshirt…no. I do not want this. It’s tight and formed and tight and formed…i need the FREE of image. But this time, i’ll do it.

Yes, words are a lot of compact stitches, and yes, all that turning. It was usually only one word a day, it’s been a while. Maybe do a letter & walk away & use your hands differently for a few minutes. It’s on its way to being powerfully wonderful.

Does the suffering make the words more precious?
I like the idea of taking a break between letters because your muscles become cramped.
I remember reading that someone forms words by couching threads, may have been the gentlework blog.
