the original thought was to pull the Goat Boat into the Way Back,  through the ify gate there,  to let them get used to it for a couple days…or few…3 is the charm….but i looked at it and knew they would crash the taillights for sure.  Goats,  doe Goats too,  rub their heads against anything they want to Mark,  to Claim,  which is everything, really.  Even though they don't have horns,  they rub as if they do because there are scent glands there and it's how they sign their name to Everything,  people included.  So…i'd imagined, or really hoped i had something that would protect the tail lights and wires but measured and really,  i didn't.    But suddenly,  that flash of Brilliance,  like the one that made the Migratory Corridor.

pull,  push the Goat Boat right up to the middle doe yard fence.  The two old tires are for balance.

the tail lights are Outside.

Cut the fence the exact amount of the Opening into the Goat Boat.  Lower the back ramp.  The ocb board was slippery.  screw in some slats for traction.  And then there was the foot of just the metal and Ginger and Cinderella have those odd and creepy hooves that might get caught,  so drag a pallet from Nogal and TenZen's place to cover that in the days.  ok.

all the crazy energy has dissipated.  I have done everything i know of to do.  Now it's up to the Universe.    Don't forget to double click,  especially this one.  How much i LOVE them,  who They ARE

Beauty FULL Tazmeena spent all that time on the futon couch but as dark descends,  and i go Out,  to listen closely to the rubbing,  to the claiming,  i hear her small voice,  her meow as she moves in the almost dark to check it all out herself.  How we are all,  ALL,  so intertwined.

How cooperative they all seem/wonder if they like what they felt in there? Gosh they ARE so beautiful, and winsome Tazmeena looking younger than she is, and it looks like you’ve got all but the unforeseen covered. Any Universe in it’s right mind would pitch in to help.

So ingenious, and so much care for their welfare. Love the pictures of the goats, their shape, and expressions and curiosity. Then Tazmeena checking it over – you are family

Lovely! Such beautiful goats! That’s how we used to get our animals used to the trailer. Having this in place will make things go smoothly when it’s time for the leaving, and should make the trip a little less stressful for them.

yes. will use the Pellets which they LOVE. and never get
as regular feed anymore…they got them when they were pregnant
and milking. and i would give a little to the bucks too, then.
But its been over a year, really, a year and a half since i
stopped that, but they all remember the sound of the pellets in
the stainless milking bucket, the tinkle tinkle, and want to
    be first…
i’ve been taking them all some, just a tiny amount, to feed
the craving at different times, different days for about 2
    weeks now.
When LOADING DAY comes, i’ll use them in small feed bowls. Just enough to get them in. Bless their hearts……

    Truly, truly brilliant!
It amazes me how when you talk of goats it is so much like my experience of cats…the marking of things, people, rubbing heads on what they claim, exploring new territory, what is theirs.
I don’t remember there being SO many goats? I never tire of seeing their beautiful coats, the patterns on them. That one front and center with brown and black looks like Sandy, the Nubian goat we first brought home on the farm. Same coat colors, same eye. Then I spotted that one at the back with the soft caramel? brown and white coat who looks like Sandys daughter, Betsy, who I bottle fed when I was just ten. Wow, that really took me back. So long ago now, decades…

it’s great that we all love things. I couldn’t do cats. The most
we ever had was in Michigan…we had 7 and it was just so too much for me.
    One cat is good.
Nubian’s are wonder full Goats. Bottle feeding…this too is beyond me.
I hope i never need to.
