enough.  4 skirts.    The dark,  "new" denim,  really IS new.  From the thrift shop,  but new to there even and never used cause it was too long.  I'd taken off the bottom tier but never took the time to hem it.  It's hemmed now.  The grey and light colored ones as they have been.  The light denim,  funky waist band.  Fixed today.

6 gores.  Cotton/Rayon.  I love this skirt….a LOT….there is so much fabric but it's light, still.

a BIG shirt.  On me, almost raglan sleeved.  I like this a lot.  Linen.  Wind,  if there is wind,  can get in.  If no wind,  then air,  at least.  I'll change out the buttons to the old ones.  I took off the collar ,  stitched it down.  Ok.  Stuff is ok,  and Going.  Now to Somewhere else.

I always ask the partner what she is taking when we pack. She just throws a lot in and doesn’t plan. I love knowing that you are looking and planning like I do. Packing for an adventure.
I love these things and can just see you walking the new grounds in them.

Natural fabrics never disappoint. They carry so much life in them. So many new opportunities to wear in a new land.

I love gored skirts and raglan sleeves. Good luck with your wardrobe re-evaluation and the future you are planning.

I am the same way with pants. Loose. Airy. Easy. I don’t like clothing that I need to pull and tug all the time. I want to put on clothing and just GO. Being comfortable. My pants are loose. My shirts in summer are the old fashion “camp shirt” boxy, square shape, no darts. Linen.
Skirts? Not so much. I might own one. Hardly even know where it might be.
I did order two dresses yesterday–going to see what that is like. Might return them.

Grace i like your choices very much. Beautiful colors and elegant because its so easygoing.
I see you smile because of the elegance but i think elegance is clothing thats really comfy and easy and perfect for the person. I could say this much better in my own language but English has to do.
You wil look great in you’r new life……

skirts have a certain freedom to them, especially if they
have a lot of yardage. and dresses, even more…the former
Uniforms of denim jumpers….no need to wear anything underneath
and then in the cool and sometimes into the cold months, a pair
of leggings underneath than can be peeled off as mid day comes.
Tell me…how did it go, the two dresses????
Today is Wednesday the 16th….How did it go?
