now branches.  just some today,  but many.  Maybe double click will work?

and peanut work in the Buck yards.   salted peanuts in the shell.  a delicacy.  I work to get Jack Flash to come to his name.  It's tricky because Sunny Ray is all in his business and there is a lot of spinning and turning…me,  them,  but we made progress.  Nogal and Tenzen know the program.  Working into it,  just once in a while now,  but more as September comes along.  Readying for the Trip.

For the first time–I see some fabric that I own in your work–I love dots. Love the use of the circles–both sides. Am loving how this progresses and processes.

the black/white????? do you have some of that?
    how amazing!
i found that a loooooong time ago at Walmart when i was
getting muslin…was on the sale table, $l a yd. LOVED
the black/white but not so much the bold patterning, but
over time, it has become much loved…esp when faded in
    sun
use it as in my mind, representing toad eggs

it was a bolt end, maybe 2 plus yards…
i will grieve when it’s used up.
and toad eggs….they represent for me that magical miracle
of reptile and amphibian that i have been so in love with
since childhood, part of the Endless Magic of this Planet

love that you say this….there is Everything in this Cloth
    for me….
how when i was in first grade, that thing of writing what
we wanted to be when we grew up, and i wrote a wild stallion,
shining obsideon black, because i’d read those words in a
national geographic and me and my friend Beatrice spending recess running the playground, flinging our manes, neighing shrilly, rearing up
which resulted in the principal calling my parents in to
suggest they might want to “take me to see someone”.
so, yes…..the mane of a wild horse.

Oh Grace–I know how that grieving feels when a favorite piece of fabric comes to it’s end and there is no more. I went up to the fabric closet and my own “idea” of having yards was mistaken. I have about a quarter yard left. So, I am sad as well. I used it up in so many quilts. But I have yards more of all sorts of black with white circles, dots etc. I will have to “make do”.

the making do will turn into something of its own self and
    we will learn.

it’s funny, when I first saw the ‘toad egg’ fabric I thought it had been gifted from me, too! I adore the fringe running up (and out) the side. Like Jude, for me it immediately evoked wind. You and your New Mexico wind! Will it be windy in the new place?
