about a quart and a half.  My so loved Tostitos Lid.  will need a mortar and pestle.  I had one once…don't know what became of them,  but, now, again.  Grind into powder.

will stitch it down.  Maybe just     some    just enough to hold things in place.  so i can take all apart and re~use another day?  But for Time Being,  will begin.  Even the beads.  It talks.

Have never stitched down these beads before.

“Orange” or “red” just doesn’t do these pictures justice … but the colors are warm and true

are they your dried tomatoes in the toastitos jar ? this new cloth has a lot going on just like you, art reflecting life reflecting art “and so it goes…” as Kurt Vonnegut said all those years ago

The cloth is so complex this morning. Like your life right now. Yes, baste it down.
It can all be rearranged later but I REALLY like it just sit is–imagining your “touches”, your animals, wind and symbols.
The light in October isn’t good for photos. Perhaps take it outside?
tomato powder. I also want to know how you use it.

well…i tried to see that, but i can’t…
there is no “image” , it’s just feelings
it’s just the old tostito LID from a jar long ago. I just
like the colors and patterns of it so i have taken care of
it. in the jar are the dehydrated tomatoes. Just till i
find the way to grind them into powder.

yes…turned out to be about a quart and a half of the dried
tomatoes. Probably will turn out to be maybe a cup and a half
of powder? not sure, but you usually use like a table spoon
of the powder at a time…
well…this Cloth….it feels good in my hands and will feel
good to my Heart to work on it in these final times (if they
really ARE the final times) (but even if they aren’t)
yes…Vonnegut…he said almost everything that sums things up

was photographed flat on the table. Next time will be hanging
    on the wall…should be better.
this is new for me…you can evidently use it for any tomato
recipe…chili, catsup, pasta sauces but i want it just
for light seasoning, like in soup. And intend to dehydrate
and powder other things like kale leaves, celery etc.
Haven’t researched thoroughly, but what little i’ve read, the
vegetable retains almost 100% nutritional value. and it’s
about learning with the kids…different ways to cook and
    eat what you grow.

The calendar picture resembles the painted cloth I made last Sunday. I was thinking–did I send Grace a picture? Yes, I can see how the dehydrated herbs would be very good to add to soups and stews. Chili. Like drying peppers. Making powder. I have so much celery and my dad’s dehydrator in the attic. Not high tech like yours–old school. Should give it a try as the freezer is full.

Love tomatoes in all forms and I can see how useful powdered would be, richness in your food, in the cloth and in your life. x
