i find myself able to do things that somehow didn't ever happen before.   I can bring in the exact wood for the Morning fire,  twist the newspaper starter and lay the beginning in place in the Stove.

but this evening,  i saw there was one more step

just now…there were a few tiny coals still glowing.  Had i set things inplace,  chances are that the newspaper would have ignited,  the kindling,  and who knows,  in the morning,  they would be used up.  so one more step.  Sometime during the day,  stir the ash.  Making sure the floor of the stove will be Ready.  Ok.  good enough.  Stove and I are partners.  The days are ours.

and….What's This?

just following Urge…  What's happening here?

Grace you are retired … isn’t it grand? More time for everything to settle inside that crazy wonderful art full brain of yours. Woohoo!

the day is not jumping from morning to late afternoon to evening to dark
the day moves. With SUN, quietly, gently, with Room for
    Things
things like crazy and wonderful images….
too soon for WooHoo, but getting there…

Oh, Grace——I think I am ready to be free also. to move with the day, as it goes, so do I.
Enough going away to work. For me, it’s just a waste of time. Something I cling to for no good reason.
I have little fabric squares to sew into a larger square.
We had a big storm hit our little Town of 20,000. Nearly every home and business without power.
Rain, wind, trees falling in streets, just missing houses. No street lights working–everything so dark.
My husband said the stars were beautiful that first night. the only light in the sky. I should have gotten up to look.

your Storm….eeeee, i picture it. The ones at night are
the most frightening. I love your husband for telling you
    of the Stars.
it’s quite something, to give Self days. To find out what
you might do with days. I am most loving the smoothness
the smooth movement, morning to night, no longer the
kind of fragmented jerkiness with always one eye to the
“schedule”. Am still learning about it.

it was just a quick drawing, not meant to Be anything at all,
and is so small, that face
had i imagined it might Become Something, i might have thought
to make it a little larger….easier to see on the screen, but
still, here, in hand, easy enough.
