remember them?  advertised in the comic books?   so, that's the image that comes to mind,  how i have felt/still feel, some.  Reconstituting.  Finding self all in a Big Surprise.

the new phone,  that actually can make and receive phone calls here has this incredibly great camera .   Alyssia has spent literally HOURS trying to find a way to down/up load them onto Typepad.  To no avail.  What to do?  This is a Big story going on  Here,  too big for just words…that would end up giving only a minimal description of what things really are, and too open to incorrect understanding.  And then there's cloth…which requires image

so what to do?   I don't know.

Does Alyssia want ideas or does she have it under control? My son might know something, I certainly don’t. Words are great after so long not having heard from you but pictures would be great, too.

Instagram may be a grand! solution. bits and pieces of what’s happening would be wonderful to see!
but that you are happy there is enough to send my imagining spinning, wondering what you’re doing the moment i think of you… =D new years eve i was remembering your calendar ritual, hoping you were sipping something lovely as you reminisced! X

it’s Typepad, pretty sure, so no matter the device they come from….it’s still an overload
blogging here is such a personal, quiet, place. i’m not sure i could do much in such a public domain.

the new calendar that Nanette had sent ahead was and IS still somewhere in the storage unit where all my stuff remains. it is how it is/was this year that we tried, but couldn’t find it. Once my hut is here, we can begin bringing things here. i look forward to that. Very much.

the flu blindsided me….even though there really was no realistic way to escape…4 children 2 adults a dog and cat in such an incredibly small space of this travel trailer, breathing and rebreathing breath…i still thought i could beat it
good for the ego..as well as the immune system. Yesterday and today i am finally good. January is a long month tho.

It is good to hear your voice, even as it struggles with technical frustrations and efforts to heal yourself. Things will calm soon, and new routines will be established – and we’ll all be here when it does.

It must be such a change after your time with just you and the animals. I’m looking forward to the stories and the pictures to go along with them. I can still see the ads for those sea monkeys. Imagining you rehydrating!

Been watching you return from the sidelines! Hi!!!!!!!
My son set up my phone and told me to download all my pictures to flickr, but then when i send those pics out to people in texts or email, they cant open them. Argh!! So now I dont delete the phone pics after sending into flickr, and I think it eats up my battery… argh!! Even my computer wizard genius son hasnt (Or wont for time restraints) been able to figure it out. He truly tried one time, but to no avail in the time span he had.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you again on the blog. I don’t think Instagram is your answer – as someone said above, you’re a writer! I just love how there are comments and back and forth conversation here—a real blog like blogs used to be and much more difficult to find these days.

don’t know about typepad, but wordpress is a free platform and has a decent iphone interface. I understand wanting to figure out and resume (more or less) what you had going here, though. and yes, I do remember those monkeys! and the growing crystals, too, in weird neon colors.
I say ‘decent’, but I bounce between PC and phone a fair amount.

getting the technology to cooperate can be tricky but it’s also designed to work intuitively so if you can figure out how to get the images to load on Instagram (a phone based app) then Typepad may understand how to do it too

I think Grace means the library is such a public space and not private.
I get that–people could stand behind you or too close. I still miss you dear heart.

Oh of course. I was confused by references to Instagram further up. Blogging at the library would suck.

While I’ve wanted to see the new place and continue seeing the work of your hands and your view on day-to-day living…I know it will work out in time and I also know how well you paint a picture and tell a story with your words (a gift you have)…that would be a comfortable ‘until then’ place to be! Take care xo
