Old mother goes up the trail between the trees to campsite B where she imagines herSelf to be at some point.  Begins to work the  Earth there…a small oblong circle.  Digging,  loosening,  Removing rock and stone.  She goes slow.  The oblong space is tilted,  like everything here…a Hill…tilted….so she works to create a Even Oblong Space,  placing stones on the South side to hold Earth in place.  Make it level.   Digging,  placing, carrying.  The scent of dug earth is strong.

after some time,  Young Mother appears at the rim of the hill,  pushing the all terraine stroller,  the young female infant sitting,  watching as they go,  they make their way over obstacles and arrive because Young Mother says,  we are your pack,  your herd.

They work.  Taking rock and stone to create the retaining rim of the Oval and then plant.  Cilantro.  Arugula.  A Salad Green Mix.

Moving along because it is the only day of SUN predicted for the week,  they  go along the rim of Campsite B,  the road side, and plant SunFlowers.   Seeds.  These just in small spaces,  small,  between what has already grown there.  Who knows,  how it might go.

Eve of Equinox,  2018.

Young Mother had a dream.

"You were gone.  Presuming dead.   and They decided that they needed to send someone to come find me because you always said that I was another you.  So it was decided that i could carry on the blog.

A famous person that no body knew was following the blog was sent inquiring about your absence.     They had decided that she could convince me to continue the blog.  This  conversation  occured as we were walking the trails  between the trees,  Here.  Her name started  with an A."

Although old mother seems to be becoming more magical though concrete, and young mothers dream is surely esoteric, it pleases me to to follow them in their Scew seed work. Blessed be the turning of the seasons.

Mine was meant to be a journal of sorts. I never imagined anyone reading the blog.
I am always surprised to get a comment. When I am gone–it is gone.
My ground is still frozen and white but I plant seeds here in the house.
You, Grace, have rain coming. We here, as far from you, there, are waiting for storm and snow.

Carving out a space in time to study the mailbox garden today. Expand the borders. Your Irises and Hollyhocks thrive! The gardenia bush made it through the winter and my grandfather’s peonies lurk, red fingers poking up through the soil. Come September I’ll send you some of these ancient Yankee roots. I think they will love CA as much as they do GA.

it is good to know A will carry on.
Solar. For lights at night. For charging some things. But especially lights. I have a spotlight thing I use when the power is out. Not the small things for ‘pathways’, bigger solar panels are more useful.

am thinking about your words here…
and i think maybe it might be more that it would be
a Just Going? How the Going of Us is worked through
    Us as beings.
I think of Emrie, what her world will bring.
I think a lot of things and your thought emphasizes them

the iris and hollyhocks…i love love to think of this.
I think they do not allow any root to enter the state.
So much is dependent on farming and so much can be
lost with any small virus i understand the thinking.
    i so much love peonies…
