a part of the Hill.   It's a canal that was created for the run off from the Oroville Dam Fish Hatchery.  Many years ago.  How long i will eventually find out.  But right now,  it's a creek.  Fast flowing.  When i get IN it,  any time now,  will probably be to my waist.  It's clean.  There are fish,  crawdads, water striders and just beginning now,  MANY dragonflies.  I put my feet in.  There is no easy access,  a steep slope down.  Tay tried to think about it.  Puppie watched.  It's possible we can make a little landing.  Will talk about that.

I am not sure you have water snakes there… copper heads and water moccasins but just watch for them. I only say this after the rattle snake thing. Since I come from the place with those snakes I am always thoughtful about them.
Of course, here we don’t have them and creeks are a wonderful thing. Do enjoy.

Such a treat that we are getting to see more and more of what you see. It truly is all so beautiful. I loved your post from yesterday and all the comments … I spent a lovely day along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan with some of the Ukuladies. All of it was wonderful and we did all say how much we love bringing are grandchildren to see what we see … and they do.

Water… Flowing water. I can only imagine what this means to a woman of the desert.

A ladder. Need long bottom legs to sink into the creek bed. Also someone to make sure and hold the ladder steady. At first. How are the stars at night with the moon so dark?
