Addendum. I am making my bed. flapping sheets to tuck, pillows, the Comforter accordian folded at the bottom for in the morning, around 4 am when it now is ……cold. I brought up beets from the wall garden and they are in the pot, though it's still very warm, the heat of that cooking is ok, will dissipate soon, but in the moment, the Scent of the beets, the Smell of them rises, each time i flap a sheet to make the bed for the Night Sleep…it's such a small space, one thing goes into the other…beets, bed linens and then…this point of this, Goats, just outside the screen door, moving, arranging themselves for the night.
Tomorrow Cinderella gets to be free. Ten days. All we know to give.
