thread beads.  Jude Hill ~ Spirit Cloth.   The Black/White,  Black/White  for so many years.   And the black/white 6,  with the seventh being an African Blood Bead.   They speak of the invisible Order of the simultaneous separate reality that moves around and through the reality we know to be real.   what we often call Magic.  but is really,  the Real.

I’ve always loved this woman with the stripes. It seems like such a native woman cloth and herself.
Glad you are doing well. I think of you …

It is so fine to have a friend with this deep understanding of the REAL.

    we think of eachother
and what IS it?, that seems “native”? i am always so
sensitive to appropriation, even when it’s things that
    are close to my Heart…
Here, a female figure standing. I guess the hair?
But i think of the hair as my own hair, stick straight,
    arranged by Wind…
    interesting, isn’t it.
    Love,

I would love to look like your Woman. One striped arm, One striped leg. And my hair soft enough to fly up. Thread beads go on my list of stitches to add to my work. And those intense pencils. To draw.
My sumac berry cloth looked dark pink and washed out to gray. I was sad, but when I ironed it–it was good. A nice old metal look.

    i would too…the striped limbs
thread beads were such a gift…i had been missing seed beads…thread beads, the remedy.
dark pink…an old metal look….i would be happy with an old metal look.
Soon, i am going to need to do something…for Mo’s pennant and i am very uneasy. Nothing here is as i imagine it might be and i am afraid i will not be able to get any
color/morks worthy of the silk piece.

I have walnuts and butternut trees . The copper beech leaves should begin to fall in a day or so. An interesting orange comes from avocado pits, calendula and marigolds from the garden makes yellow. Would you like for me to send you some to give a boost to your options? And black and white and blood red threads.

When I look at this cloth I see the strong woman on the right. I believe she is you. But also on the left a tall woman with a small torso and very long legs (or dress) coming out from behind the trees? Her face is gentle and she appears to be watching over you. Do you see her? Did you enhance the face with your pencils or did she appear on her own?

Oh wow … I do see her! But rather than legs, my eyes see a long robe flowing from triangular yoke, and an outstretched arm holding a branch over the drawn figure. Really quite amazing. Thank you for seeing her into reality.

California is strict about any plant material coming in. And with reason. Most of the food in our grocery stores across the nation is from California.
So, as much as i would love it…no. and love and
    thank you
