had a few moments of light this morning.  Breakfast.  A young woman from  San Luis Obispo had given me this camp stove,  had belonged to her Dad.  She thought it would be good luck.  Tomatoes and onion from Wall Garden.  Hamburger and hashbrowns.  Ketchup.

it started raining as i was eating.

i still made tea.  

it will rain now through Friday.  or part of Friday.  the honda is not so much a rain shelter for a wet woman and a wet dog.  What to do.    if i go back to the Hill this afternoon,  we will all come back to bring the Goats home on Friday.  that means  two days give and take.  Leaving them.  I can't decide.  I can't decide.

i have to decide. 

If there's no post tomorrow and Friday,   it's just because there's not a way to do it,  not that there's anything happening beside lack of power for this lap top.

    Love in the form of your being nourished from your land on the hill via being able to eat your own tomatoes and onions, a simple, thankful joy. Decide to go to the Hill because from all that you have indicated, the goats are well looked after…bring them home on Friday.

    From the news being reported the rain seems to be a mixed Blessing. Whatever you decide sounds like a mixed Blessing as well. Will hold you close in my thoughts tomorrow .. hold you in a prayerful Thanksgiving.

    they are. What i do is maybe also mostly for me. They have been the closing of my days for over 7 years…end of day,
    feed Goats. Check water.
    i know beyond any doubt that they are well cared for.
    so…here i am. Back on the Hill. In this comparatively spacious Place, the little lanterns giving light. Tay fed and resting. We fed them, Goats, before we left. Told them the Plan They were good. All was well. Talkie too.

    it IS your business, you are KIN…..as in sister…
    you All are the only sisters i have.
    cold was not an issue. Wet is. And Tay brings in Wet, she can’t help it.
    We are here now. Back. in the spaciousness of that once
    claustrophobic place, the small space, with a bed, a floor for Tay, her bowl.
    We will sleep. Tomorrow will bring Tomorrow.

    Perhaps you will see the small space on the Hill as not so bad this winter? that in itself is a blessing.
    I can’t even imagine sharing a car with Riley and especially if he is wet. Better the Hill for the nights.
