Alyssia to the VA in Sacramento for some kind of radio active scan.   Me and Emrie.  and today….the first time,  we were a little independent.  She had a good long nap and woke to her own particular interests of building towers with her blocks,  playing with the flash lights,   putting small things in and out of an egg carton,  things like that and would call loud,  MA! and i would have to get up and look and comment….but then i was able to go back to stitching stones.   A first.  A milestone.  Stuff will just get better and better from here.  I need to go to the storage house and get the tins of buttons that will be perfect for the Egg Carton work,  for counting.  She likes counting.  There are a lot of really Great buttons.  Art Deco.                                        And the stones,  i am loving the stones and also have forgotten a lot about stitching stones, but will remember as i go now,  there is great satisfaction  with stitching stones and i     saw   a blade of grass rising from these stones.  Tomorrow for that.

I'd forgotten to close the two remaining sacks of compost down at the Wall Garden and went early to do that.  There were lizards…tiny ones on the wood walls in the early Sun.  After that Forecast of RAIN,  deluge,  there was almost no rain,  moments of it but sprinkle and i will go back.  Will read those forecasts and prepare but also count most on looking out the window.  Out the window,  it was fine.  Overcast, but fine.  OK.

The child is getting used to your rhythm. I hope the buttons are large so she won’t put them in her mouth. My son did that. It was terrifying.
I check the weather map in the morning paper each day while I have breakfast. Sacramento had an R for rain today. Reno had CL for cloudy. I check both. To see how it might be for you. We had 20 degrees and sunshine.

I’m watching for a lizard there in your rocks. Love Emrie’s tutu from yesterday. How might that feel? To wear a tutu.

i think there might be more than one…
She loves her tutu. It inspires her combo dance and gymnastic
moves that are really funny, they combine spinning with scooting
across the floor on her stomach then rolling and up ending herself back to the spinning. And Outside, is something to behold as
she goes along in the middle of the Goats.
I would never have put a tutu on my girl children, wouldn’t ever have thought of it. but now it’s just another thing to wear over your
leggings or sometimes over her cargo pants. Which might be my favorite when she shows up in camo cargos and the tutu. It’s
a different world where anything and everything goes for girls, and
now for boys. Maybe we’re getting somewhere.
in this pic i love how it rides low so her diaper is showing. Alyssia lets the kids pick out their own clothes for the day.

It’s been such a long time since I visited here . . . eventually I’ll put something on my blog about that. I haven’t been anywhere on this magical plane: even on Facebook I’m just checking notifications so I had far too match to catch up on.
I’m so happy to see how things are developing and more than just a little green about the lifestyle . . . A good delivery of compost will always bring satisfaction!

I want to pick your stones up and hold them. And thank you for the good memories of parallel playing with my boys- we had buttons & egg cartons, too, and a bowl of chickpeas with a spoon to stir & jar to pour them…
