view from the toilet.  Alyssia couldn't bear to sell them,  but didn't want them.  I'll try them out,  see how they might work.  I love my big round baskets but they also collect a lot of dust and cat hair.

waking at 3 am.   Wanting to stay awake,  wanting to go back to sleep.  Wanting Both.  Love the light of the night light on the Cloth Wall.   Is like it should be the opening image of a long or short story.  Loved the thought of how it would appear from outside,  maybe some distance away,  the light through the travel trailer window,  the travel trailer that doesn't go anywhere

    I love baskets like that .. yes they are wonderful for storage and keeping the cat hairs and dust out is an added bonus

    maybe. I love the big round baskets, how the cloth is always climbing out of them
    but at least for now, maybe this will be good. I have always loved how they look…OH, Baskets…dear baskets

    Totally off topic except it was 3am the other night.. cats in my plants.. they found a tree frog.. !! Spent the rest of the night researching how to keep it alive til spring. Crickets.. so next morning off to buy it food, and man at pet store told me he has 5 as pets.. and would love to keep him and set him free in the spring.. yay. Next day before we departed to the store he ate a cricket and turned from a pale color to a bright green. Pet man said green is their happy color.

    “Wanting sleep. Wanting wakefulness. A trailer that doesn’t go. The cloth as witness” – That’s the scenario for a film Titled SACRED…because of the ‘witness’ it could be a murder mystery or a miracle story, Adult or Young Adult fiction. The baskets are swell and for the film there might be clues in each one…cloth work clues.
    Meanwhile, I also woke at 3a.m.New York time because I was shivering. Heat was off and I roused the Super who thanked me (if the pipes freeze we’re in big trouble with 56 or so souls dependent) So he got up from his sound sleep and fixed the timer…then it took another thirty minutes to build up enough pressure to fill the pipes up to the 6th floor. 5a.m. Monday morning-presidents day-a holiday. I’m awake but deeply exhausted so I won’t be up much longer and I won’t be conscious (I hope) for sunrise. Happy Monday to you, who endures and goes on no matter what…your indigenous genes are working well for you I think dear Grace.

    3 AM…I’m awake/not awake a lot then, sometimes aware that I am lucid dreaming (which I rarely remember afterwards,just that I was). I love how quiet it is, not just sound but also the sense that most of the neighborhood is sleeping or at least like me somewhere in between.

    Things that cats find at 3 AM could be a book. 🙂 We have frogs at work for the children. Sometimes they will start to croak in the middle of nap…it’s the funniest thing. Thanks for sharing this it made me smile.
