best friend,  Jumpin Jack Flash.   Who can be a best friend because of being a wether…neutered as a buckling.  He is from Ten Zen and one of Jan's does in New Mexico,  Joey.    As we consider breeding,  we think to keep a couple wethers.  They are really the most fun Goats….maintain their silliness and are relieved from all the angst of hormones.

Ray looks more and more like his sire Gideon as he ages.  I sat there and 

remembered.  Gideon.

pulled all the energy i could to bring his Spirit here.  I will always miss him.

    Loving goats something fierce this Saturday morning as the cool sun rises higher over Manhattan and wish, when I go out to the street below, there would be a few wethers to accompany me at my chores.

    he is a so great Goat. Totally allied to Sunny Ray. It’s interesting how they make that bond, a wether to a buck, a bond that calms the buck primarily, by giving them a sense of “herd” that they can’t have any other way
    but also the wether enjoys the challenge. He’s a very
    happy Goat.
    That time that Sunny Ray got loose from the deer fencing yard and moved. Leaving Jack behind….how he climbed as high as he could up a tree trunk then SAILED through the air to escape.
    And during all the evacuation TO and then on RETURN, he just goes with Ray. No need to “manage” him. In a certain way, his happiness allows him a great deal of Freedom.

    more and more now. He is getting older. Time goes by.
    We got Gideon as an older buck. Never saw him young.

    I love this thought, Michelle, and picture it…what a great scene, you and your Goats coming out the door onto the avenue, setting out…them trotting along in tight herd formation. Love this SO SO SO much
