   This face startled me because I saw my sister and I know that you didn’t know her…still there is something about the eyes, maybe it is that deep soulful expression, that slight curve to the mouth of amusement, that gaze of wonder that so strongly speaks to me of her or maybe it is simply that she has that universal look of being present.

   I have a few of those faces etched in plaster on my walls. How are you, dear Grace? Your name popped up in a discussion on another site and memories flooded back. I have been long absent from here. I am glad you are still here, though I see you made the move you spoke of and I know it has been harrowing. But that face is still gazing outward and inward.
