Alyssia picked it up last Sunday in a nearby town.   A family makes them.    They talk about it on the buy sell trade page as a picnic table.  They must be tall.  It's tall.   But this makes it a perfect work table.   Cloth can be layed out and bundled.   One of the benches can be for Jars of brew.  It's light enough that i can move it around.   It could easily be  moved to B if the time comes.  It's just right.  I applied the water seal,  turned them upside down,  to get the underneath.  Right side up then.  Emrie had no experience with painting,  but when told not to touch she just said  OK  and went a ways away to work on her moves.  Running, fast both down and up hill.  Jumping straight up in the air,  hopping.  Hopping is her favorite, maybe.   She will be 2 at the end of July.

then,  as i was lost in thought and painting,  i realized i didn't hear her.  She'd gone to sit with Tay who was chewing a stick.  I watched a while,  she was also lost in thought.  She moves her hands  over and through the grasses,  feeling them.  She picks some and eats them,  picks the seed pods from the rattlesnake grass and eats them,  one at a time.   I think that the grass people are engaging in Transmission,  like buddhist Teachers do.  Direct Transmission.  She is so lost in the being there.  Next i saw her she was lying flat on her back in the dirt driveway road,  looking up into the trees and sky her hands up stretched,  her fingers moving.  Earthing.   My great wish is that she stays this way.  It would be such a gift for me,  but i know it might not happen,  they change around this time,  take on a different persona.  So i just wish and hope.

maybe. She and her mother have an everynight ritual of
sitting outside and counting stars. It’s important to her.
Yesterday, she got a kind of dandelion stump stuck in her
right nostril. Alyssia got part of it out, but could see
more in there. Way up. Her nose was running profusely, much
sneezing, as alyssia called the pediatrician who told her to take her to urgent care, Emrie sneezed it out.
She is a primitive little person. If it smells good, why not shove it up your nostril?????

very Much! I was almost at the point of just getting a picnic table from Home Depot…using the credit card.
this was a third the cost, helped encourage that family
to MAKE and is really, so much more what works for what i need. Tomorrow it will be dry and i can begin. A very HAPPY thing

her lying flat on the ground, the Earth, hands up,
fingers moving like the leaves move
instinctively, she is Grounding. hooking energetically
    into the Earths core.
i am flooded with uhhhh….with what? I am flooded with
how so simple it is…how real it all is, how we are
    born knowing
saying OK was surprising. She likes to push limits. She did not. Said…OK.

Love the table Grace— perhaps if you give the building people measurements they can (later) make another shorter table for meals? If you draw it they would most likely be happy to make anything. I am showing this to G to see if he can make me a table like that for outside.
I spent my days at this age with my grandmother. In the garden. In the kitchen. Watching her make things. This is who I am. This is who she will be.

Like Joanne, i spent days with my grandma. She knew sewing and had
much fabric and buttons to share. Alyssia has a forest growing in
    her imagination, lucky girl!

I smile watching her change you the way Charlie changed me. At this age Every interaction matters, imprints itself. They really are blank slates and you and I have been blessed to be a part of the first chapters.
