Wanting to stay here still.   Realizing how much photographs can be enough.

i love everything here,  i love the place it is in.  Love.

it's the old chair from N Mex that Bill's father made.  Lee.  Bill's father.  I think we might have become lovers if the stars had been aligned.  Me and Lee.  Alz B's ex.

so the chair.  And on it the enamal pot with walnut  and a shell on top.  the old aluminum pot.  Both of these need to be brought over here to the Table.  for now.   because it's  where i am,  over here.

and then,  left to right,  a cloth person,  i don't remember what it was about her,  but she is for sure,  a cloth person.  A jar of old buttons,  no longer made.  Many of abalone.  If Emrie looked for such buttons she very well might not be able to find them.

and we get to this being.  in the picture frame.  a monkey.  There is a series of pics of her that i have written about here, somewhere.  From some old Found issue of a Natural History Publication.  I never remember….you'd think i'd write it down?

but double click her.  This is me.  When i first saw this photograph,  i knew her to be me.  and now,  years later,  so much more,  this is me.  Look at her.  What is her expression?  She is so WILLING,  so wanting.  Willing what?  Wanting what?  her small smile,  ?  I love her and as i love her,  i love my Self.  Unsure,  wide eyed,  willing,  wanting.  READY.

Quite a collection of things with stories to tell! I did click on the picture to peer into those large large eyes. I thought she was a lemur.

Thank you Marti! This is price-less … I especially like the one with the “tightly set mouth and squinted eyes indicat[ing] thorough disapproval” … such a universal expression, no words needed!

How they are all just “things” without the stories that anchor them with meaning … how “home” can come with us, wherever we may wander

I love the zebra ashtray. Did the grooves ever hold cigarettes, smoke and stories curling up around its ears?
