all the stitches are in place.   There was some thought about stitching in that symbol of Essential Being…in the "sky",  but i don't think so.  tomorrow i'll look for a scrap that will  be a piece of sky.

the exchange here,  so intimate.   anything else would change that and it shouldn't be changed.

the sister cloth.  Now time for her.

i listened today to the conversation on Future Primitive… with Stephen Harrod  Buhner,  whose book

Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm,  into the dreaming of the Earth

i have HERE,  right next to me,  at this table on a Hill in a Forest.  I always say that things are just beyond Great,  but really, really,  this conversation is Beyond Great,  beyond beyond Great.  It is Exactly IT.  Please take the time to listen.  It's about deep love,  about the deep love it takes to Listen to this Earth.

Lovely lovely cloths. that lizard is miraculously alive.
Stephen Harrod Buhner–an interview (his voice answering questions the interviewer poses). I think you will like hearing him talk about his life. One hour and 4 minutes.

More about the interview “SHOW INTRODUCTION: “If you’ve ever wanted a completely different way to look at, perceive, and connect with the world, then do we have the Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm show for you. Today I’ll be talking with Stephen Harrod Buhner author of Herbal Antivirals, Herbal Antibiotics and at least 17 other books including one of the most important, profound, and paradigm shifting books I’ve ever read, Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm. And that’s just what I want to talk with him about today, our connection to the natural world, how to cultivate a completely a completely new realm awareness, and what it means for our day-to-day lives. That plus we’ll talk about Barbara McClintock, Tom Sawyer Syndrome, butterflies and first grade, sharing a metaphysical moment with grandpa, Lyme disease and Japanese knotweed, White Pine, and Clark’s Nutcracker and what in the world can happen if it’s the sixties and you long hair in Texas. MORE ON STEPHEN BUHNER: Stephen Harrod Buhner is an Earth poet and the award-winning author of twenty books on nature, indigenous cultures, the environment, and herbal medicine. He comes from a long line of healers including Leroy Burney, Surgeon General of the United States under Eisenhower and Kennedy, and Elizabeth Lusterheide, a midwife and herbalist who worked in rural Indiana in the early nineteenth century. The greatest influence on his work, however, has been his great-grandfather C.G. Harrod who primarily used botanical medicines, also in rural Indiana, when he began his work as a physician in 1911. Stephen’s work has appeared or been profiled in publications throughout North America and Europe including Common Boundary, Apotheosis, Shaman’s Drum, The New York Times, CNN, and Good Morning America. Stephen lectures yearly throughout the United States on herbal medicine, the sacredness of plants, the intelligence of Nature, and the states of mind necessary for successful habitation of Earth. He is a tireless advocate for the reincorporation of the exploratory artist, independent scholar, amateur naturalist, and citizen scientist in American society – especially as a counterweight to the influence of corporate science and technology.” (posted March 5th 2017)

Thank you so much for bringing this interview to our attention. Stephen Harrod Buhner is one of my favorite go-to healers. My husband and I read aloud to each other his book, “The Secret Teachings of Plants – The Intelligence of the Heart in the Direct Perception of Nature.” (Yes, he’s in the running for the longest subtitles prize.)
When he writes about Heart Coherence, it brings tears of relief to my eyes and an overwhelming sense of peace. And you, Grace, certainly seem to exemplify that coherence, extending your heart’s electromagnetic field right through the virtual world of your blog.

How the colors and stitching all came together is just sooo excellent. It has such sensitivity about it .. it is gentle and kind. Perhaps you could name this piece Grace.
