That place still holds your love. A new person may hear the place’s
new person song – someone who needs a place to make a safe nest and
grow quietly. Your care soaked in like roots and rain. Things change and change but loving is never destroyed – it grows again. I hope this
comment isn’t intrusive. Your pain is also real.

i think about the Iris….along the front of the House, the HOME there. I think they were given NO water, that they lay dormant…the tubers….but i know them. They wait. like, really, WAIT.
I cut comments because it’s hard stuff and can be a burden for people. Don’t want that…a burden in an already burdensome world. But still, the need to tell the truth.
    But not wanting to burden.
It’s such a deeply gentle place in a world that is in chaos. I “pray” for it.
The comment is not intrusive, i just wanted to relieve anyone from feeling they should. It’s all Love. just Love. Just love, yes?

I think, through all these years of Windthread offerings -and with so many of us you having gathered close to the heartbeat of your own experience because it speaks in an important measure to ours as well – we all lived there with you in a way. We lived … in the parts of your heart that spoke to ours.
The things I’ve been immersed in during my so-called retirement years strongly suggest it’s not just the iris tubers that will effectively wait. The parts of your essential being that was embedded in that specific piece of land through the two decades worth of co-creative intimacy will – that WILL at some point and in some way rise to make clear that it never left. That’s an essential part of love in the co-creative arc of Place. When it comes to “knowing” stuff I doubt just about everything these days. But this is something I don’t doubt even a little bit.
Seems likely as more processing and layers of working-through fall aside the Manzanita medicine spirit could provide valuable Grace-friendly steerage and illumination? Not to mention comfort and healing that whispers gently. Not making a big thing of itself. Just quietly doing its share of setting Opportunity’s table for all necessary forms of just going.
The friends who sent you those pictures. Would they be willing to go back to distribute flower essences for land healing purposes? I’d be glad to send them some bottles directly if it would be of comfort to you.

It’s interesting that you were suddenly homesick for it all a few days ago, and now this. Holding, hugging with you.

“that will, at some point and in someway rise” like the tubers.
i don’t know, Acey…it would be a stretch for them, the Giving of Essences to the land for healing…but they know me, so, maybe?
