just like this…..there were both butterflies and Birds….so many Birds,  the elegant slate blue with cream and amber breasts.  I know now this is a migratory corridor.  I would not have been at all surprised if one lit on my head.    This Cloth is in the Shop.

in the forest,  afternoon,  Wind picked up.   This is how it felt.  I will put the Trees that danced.

they say 800,000 customers had no power today.  As a precaution,  Pacific Gas and Electric turned it off.    Maybe it's like with Goats,  it takes 3 times?   Lakeside,  the local grocery/gas station was closed.  The Dollar Store open but with a cash only sign and the clerk led customers through the dark  isles with a hand held flashlight.  I got garbage bags and AAA batteries.  Last time people were annoyed.  This time,  there was an air of resignation.    Alyssia's electric in town is off.  So,  i'll watch how it goes and if it seems it might be a few days,  i'll need to conserve battery for emergency phone use.  So,  don't worry.  Stuff's ok.  Birds are traveling,  trees dance.

It has to be so hard on the businesses not that it’s easy for anyone. I get the why but not sure about how this is going to work out in the long run. My niece that lives in the area is grilling her family’s dinner tonight. I’m thinking that could easily start a fire .. Only difference is the electric company would not be held accountable or would they?? No easy answer for sure .. praying for the rains to come.

no. there is no easy answer. And the QUEStiON is to ALL.
What do we “pay’ for what we think we NEED????????
Our customary living….it has a price. Electricity has
    a price.
All we are going through here to be permitted….it’s kind of a price for nothing. All we want is Solar.
it’s complex and what we will work through, whether we like it or not. It’s the Given. And, like Goats, it will take a few times but we will Go.

Thinking of wind a lot tonight as on the opposite coast we’re bracing for a nor’easter. Am a long time subscriber to the Los Angeles Times which has been covering all manner of planning decisions and daily life consequence since the power cuts first began. I learn a lot and yet virtually none of it seems to address people who live as you do; partially or fully off the grid in the hills and canyons.

What an expressive cloth/stunning. Solar for sure as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I heard about the turn off and wondered if it was you all. So now it’s just living like there never was electricity. Dear you. I’m rain dancing in my heart.

Both of our daughters live in CA but only one is affected by the power turnoff. The one who lives in San Francisco is fine; the one who lives in Alameda County in the East Bay will more than likely be without power for five days, affecting work and school, not to mention losing a good supply of food. Our grand kids school was closed yesterday and today; no word about Friday but more than likely it will be closed as well. None of this would have been necessary if PG and E had taken care of their equipment in a regular and timely fashion…what a mess! Still you cannot overlook the safety factor here in terms of helping to prevent fires…
