even though it was a magnificent day   OutSide,   i simply opened the door to let the day  In   and worked enough on this to secure the  center

in place for the coming week.   It's big.  20×22.  Always think i want to work small.  Doesn't often happen.

I have to work it on the table.  Standing up.  There are too many moving parts.   it's awkward.  but worked    The center is invisibly basted.   all that radiates out is secured with pins.  Now i can go.

this Cloth and the collage work are kin.

Fusion of color and warmth: these paper strips for collage, these cloth strips that radiate outward while coming from within. It’s as if the world needs to turn from the status quo of gray to the technicolor of movement, possibility and coming together of many different elements…
perhaps chaotic at first until the melding of story settles it all down for there is a story in these random placements of paper and of cloth.

who said that, the other day…reminding that
    Evolution is messy
both of these…refer to the epiphany. I won’t know.
It’s Big and Beyond any knowing i might have or ever see.
but i can trust in the parts moving today that Things will Form. Not what i might have ever known…nothing familiar. But form they will.

I loved the pile of vibrant color in the first image. And smiled. Really enjoy some of the pieces being scattered with water droplets. and to see in direct conjunction with your cloth work. The very clear dialogue that might develop over time.

I need a picture of a crow. And now I see how you tore your picture- I will try again with mine- I tried too hard. I need to be looser- a mixed drink- a margarita. Deb told me to change the batteries in my – I don’t know what its called. I happened to have the one that takes batteries and now the MOUSE works. The other one does not work with batteries and needs to be charged. I’m so tired I am not making sense- I am going to bed- I’ll do prompts tomorrow- all three of them.

every time I see this cloth I breathe a deep sigh … not the “dammit” kind of sigh, but a deep, contented sigh of recognition
it just feels so very right

Both your current art works are eye catching … yes to the crow giving a spot for the eye to rest. Love that you’re having fun!
