some people have certain things on their End Tables. Like maybe photographs in interesting frames, or pottery, or objects they love, a plant.
here, the flashlights in glasses so they become lamps. a scoop of cat food for Puppy's morning bowl. The rest is self explanatory. How it is here.

I have flashlights in glasses, here and there. A habit I acquired from the emergency minded Turkish man who has more experience with such things.

Not just on the end table here, but on almost any clean, flat surface: screws, nails, tape, tools, eyeglasses, scraps of paper, string, cat toys, etc., etc.

Looks normal to me……I have a dishes of cat food on various tables around the place….my bed side table, my sewing table…..it’s the only way one of my cats will get close, eating at height at my elbow. No fancy photos or plants, they’d just get knocked off so a furry could stretch out, but probably sewing or knitting. It’s how we live, real, not a magazine spread.
