we looked. more. looking for Rings that might tell a story. What we saw , rings?, but with only a hair between, if that? How slow. How slow did this tree grow? What conditions ? How could this be? these branches and trunks. A hundred years?

(((Grace))) I remember a huge Plane Tree at the Botanic Gardens here in Sydney that had to come down and thought it must have been at least 100 years old but it was less than 50! Trees have their own ways of dealing with what happens and this one has provided a good pile of firewood for your clan!

we don’t burn wood…well…Jeff does. He took some
on the weekend. We will take what we can to the
side of the road with a free sign. It’s the BEST
fire wood.
