Peggy asked about SPideR. this was from a while ago…but everytime i touch a leaf, he appears. The Mullein is bigger and so is he.
and to Acey, yes. probably tomorrow? soon, for sure, i will harvest some leaves to hang and dry. I think about this Plant who chose to BECOME in the midst of the Wall Garden. I see no other Mullein around. Just this single One. And in this Time, when Breath is so much in our awareness….this Plant that aids breathing. I acknowledge her Presence, her Choice to be here.
Love your recurring theme of “suddenly” growing a single plant that gives all indications it’s shown up of its own accord. Always hope this is happening for lots of people all over the place …

Grace–I love when you post photos of plants that are beneficial health-wise as it makes me learn more about our plant world. Until this week I had never hear of mullein but will keep an eye out for it.
I need to send you a photo of the pomegranate bush/tree that is on the grounds of my current apartment building which I didn’t even realize it was there until this past fall. One of our maintenance men came up to me one day and told me about it. I think he told several people as all of the rest of the fruit disappeared pretty quick. This year, there are so many blooms and some small fruit already starting.
