She is three this summer. Winter over Winter over. There was never a cabbage but it didn't matter, the leaves were excellent in stir fry. And then somewhere along the line the aphids settled in permanently. But that was ok too. She was what she was, had a personal life. i looked down on her today and lo and behold, how so absolutely BeautyFull her interior is…pure and healthy and Fine. I felt and there's a small nub in there…maybe marble size. the beauty of her heart makes all her wear and tear even more appealing. I want to draw her…like i used to draw dried flower blooms…iris…following her lines so so slowly, rendering her perfectly and exact. I won't, but the feeling of wanting to is Good.
don't know what's going on here. The original thought was for square and rectangle shapes…turned edges except for that first central piece, edge to edge. traditionally. Just once in my life. Pinned scraps just to see how it might go…could go , color wise but seeing them like this i don't think that's going to happen.
About the Fires. I don't think i'm going to write much here about them anymore. If we evacuate, i will tell that. But otherwise, it's just how it is. This is only the beginning of Fire Season. And i believe the truth is that it's just Climate Change. We have talked about Climate Change for years, talked about it as if at some point, like a certain date, it would
begin.
That already happened. This is it. This is what it is. Here, higher temperatures, longer Season..begins sooner, lasts longer, atmospheric disturbances i.e. 11,000 lightning strikes in 3 days, decreased snow pack. This is it. The Work now is to learn how to live. That's enough. Much of that Work takes place in the Heart.
