Utube     Sam Baker   Go In Peace

Last night,  like many nights,  she says:  draw us,  old nana.   I draw us.   on the concrete of their car port where i have made camp for almost a month.  The door would stay barely shut so she could come in and out.  The glow of the electric lights in the windows.   A  house,  with electrical outlets,  2 refrigerators,  a washer and dryer.  a microwave and a toaster oven.

today we went to Camelot and loaded the Goats which went amazingly SMOOTH…positioning the Goat Boat and the Horse Trailer…SMOOTH…we called….Come,  Come,   and they came.     In case,  loading barricades  were positioned and held,  some by National Guard men/women who had come to assist the Whole Thing of Evacuations

back here,  Jenny got the truck stuck and it took close to forever but it DID get unstuck somehow and after a while….it was all quiet.   A new feed pattern and  some commotion,  new Herd  form after a month of separation but it goes and now as evening comes,  All is Well.

we are Back.   We now  go.   I have my pillow,  the Tina quilt.  Tea bags and brown sugar for morning.  Enough propane to heat the water for a day or two.

i miss her,   that Emrie being,  with all her so constant LIVING~ness,  i miss her.  Here i am,  with the openended solitude that is so much loved…and i miss her.   Both.   I love Both and am now so grateful for having this loooooong gap of time.  and so Grateful to be

Back.
