there has been such a wonder Full response to these Invocation Cloths….so Very gratifying ….Why?   Because they are giving me a way to be my most honest and genuine self.   A way to stitch my best truth.  To BE my best truth.  

i woke this morning…this one was among those to Let Go of  but i couldn't.   it is not ,  uhhhh,  "pretty"  in its form or composition but it has a strong Voice that is so clear.   I don't give them words or story of my own but try to stay in their  world as i  work,  leaving all that to the exchange between the Cloth and the receiver.  
This one  though,  has always been about the Mycelium.   "the vegetable part of fungus colony consisting of a mass of branching thread like hyphae.   Mycelia are vital in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems for their role in the decomposition of plant materials.  They contribute to the organic fraction of soil and their growth releases carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere"  Wikipedia 

so,  this one stays here to help me learn to TRUST cloth.  To trust the partnership.

it rained all night and then all day.   late afternoon there was HUGE THUNDER over and over and then HAIL that covered the earth like snow.  Goats all dismayed….rushing out of Shelter in desperation but then immediate return.    One of those days.  Which we still so desperately need for hope in the Dry Time.   Tomorrow 10 degrees warmer.  I go to Alyssia's to do laundry while she goes off to get her first vaccination…this being the first week they have opened to those with chronic illness.  I am afraid for her,  but somehow,  this Mycelium Cloth says…Trust.  For this too.   Ok.
