i set Out from this Hill.   still….a big deal.    Had things i wanted.   Ginger root.   a  small shovel.   Cilantro Seed.   The mail with my ballot for the recall vote of Newsome.   Got all of it.

not being sure why,  i took a stack of National Geographics.   part of the divesting process for Evacs.   I ended up stopping at the Library just this side of the hardware store where i was headed.    In keeping with Nancy,  pomegranitetrail.blogspot.com,  with her love medicine bag mission,   i thought to just put the N Geo s somewhere and the somewhere was one of the cement benches that line the Library sidewalk.  During the time of Acey's Collage~ing,  i'd taken some pages for images.     There's always street people,  homeless people at those benches.  Maybe they would enjoy?  After buying the exact shovel i needed,  driving back by….they were gone.   Maybe 20 minutes.   Good.

Ahhh, Grace. the library. a hardware store. a grocery store. since December 2019, these are the primary destinations for Mr. and Mrs. BaggyPants. when I travel to a new spot on the “map”, these are the first spots that I explore. they say so much about the people who live there. Basic needs, of that place and it’s people.
    “Good”. so “GOOD”.
Nancy’s blog refreshes my soul, these days of “social distancing” and kerfuffles beyond description. I’d bookmarked her “medicine” posts, so offer up a tiny url to those posts specifically: https://tinyurl.com/ff7bhxdm

Nancy gives comfort via the CMB’s, you give the world all wrapped up in pages…gifts so good for the spirit. I donate magazines to our library because they have a free cart. At least once a month, I bring home treasures from the cart but how wonderful it would be to be walking along and find them on a bench, hanging from a fence, etc…

yes…i wanted them to be just There for the Taking….
some of the people are accompanied by complex carts…all
their stuff…i don’t know if they feel ok about going IN
and leaving it all OutSide? so this would accommodate that.
When i went through a gigunda bag of clothes in that back
room this morning…there are pants that Jenny and Alyssia
have brought me now and then that are Like New and some NEW
that are too big or just not comfortable…there’s two pair
    of really great black jeans…but they’re stiff….i can’t do stiff…i guess, too new….
and i’ve thought about putting them in one of the nice paper bags from Lakeside with Please Take written on and leaving maybe outside of that Laundromat closest to the main drag???

Aw, well isn’t this sweet to know! I never really know most of who pops in over on the trail ๐Ÿ™‚ These Community Medicine Bags have been saving me these days. I’m glad my space refreshes you during this time.
Grace~ Yay! What a fun thing to do. The stories in the doing are so fun. Who picks it up? Why? What happens next?
I think we could all use some lightening and brightening these days. xo

Feeling your Joy and sense of rediscovery in Shopping your own stash! Nat Geoโ€™s are someone elseโ€™s treasure now! Jeans to me are stiff too and I live now in colorful patterned leggings. But they make them look like jeans too. But not useful cloth in their afterlife.
