in Jude's Appearing and Disappearing place the other day,  she put the thought of excuses.    and i have held that ever since.  So in  these days before the new year,  i am thinking.   and i'll just cut to the chase.

it's been a long time since i could post pics of Cloths over in that little Side Bar Shop which worked great for a long time.  I guess it's been since i began taking pics with the phone which means since i got such a phone which means since i came here.  Which is 4 years ago.   Before that,  i almost always could make a Cloth that some one wanted and thereby have some little money aside from the $774 social security.   I could buy a book,  i could buy seeds.  I could __________.    it was good.     so. …i guess  i could somehow figure out how to upload pics into that Shop.  even tho right now,    i don't know how.    But then too,  i think, many people who come here to Windthread already have something i've made.     they don't need  another.   and it goes on.  All the reasons i

  can't.

but where that's gotten to is that i also don't need more and more Cloths.   i can't just keep making and keeping.   But…..i LOVE making them.    I have really been thinking.   getting to   the   I Don't Know How   and then  to the it Probably Wouldn't Work anyway,     but

just standing there.   i am just staying standing there.

LaceLady sent me a totally great card.   as a gift…still in it's sleeve.   She does this now and then.  I love this.   A lot.   This artist has an Etsy Shop.   I looked there.   Beauty Full.   and then i thought…but i don't want to get caught up in making a Lot of Anything….any kind of   "product".   I want to make Cloths when they "come",  i want to draw stuff when the drawings "come".

and maybe too….i want to see what they would look like as Cards.   So      I don't know how.  I don't know if it would work.

but there's a copy shop in town.   Maybe i can just go talk to them.  Ask questions.  Get actual answers.   This IS the 77 Year.  Above are 14 Invocation Cloths.  Each could be a Card.   ?   7 plus 7  =  14.    good number energy.   Maybe?    Maybe i'll try

or

maybe i just don't know how and anyway,  maybe it wouldn't "work".

You could also just sell them right in the spot where you showed them to us today. HERE.
Just say- these two are for sale- email me. Simple. Or add numbers to the picture from today and let people chose. It does not have to be complicated.

Yes please do whatever easy selling method you come up with! it is so delightful picking up small things from people I follow… even bits of a cloth that came from a forgotten walnut bucket, or small fragments of found cloth… i finally understood the invisible glue stitch from a piece I bought from you (Sower of Seeds)

I love how these individuals look when in community together, hanging together on the backcloth. Beautiful.
If more exposure is what you are considering would be good for selling them, Chico has an awesome Farmers Market. You could go there occasionally and see how folks respond.
I know how living in isolation can make it harder to put yourself out to the bigger world. And the bigger world would be improved by your offerings. You are a gift.

I was amazed at how (relatively) easy it was to send pictures online to Shutterfly and end up with a serviceable book … they make cards, too
I would love to buy a set of cards with your cloths on them … and I can’t help thinking your cloths would be wonderful stitched together

Your cloths are a map of your world and our world, spinning outward and inward, full of light and wonder and joy. Why wouldnt anybody want to buy something that held all of that within it?

two reasons to sell….it is making a Living
and the second, it keeps me making New
and well, a third, it tells me they are wanted

i need info like this…Shutterfly….will check it out.
they are not practical in that way, ie stitched together,
ie not useful. Many of the fragments are worn and
i do not want to “stitch them down” as they would need to
    be for a quilt

My extended family also has designated work days, BUT, really, they can be adjusted. Need to be adjusted as Life is more fluid then our schedules and “agreements”.
YOU are important and have the self determination to get to go to the Chico Farmers market to try it out as a possible way to receive compensation for your lovely cloths (embued with spirit).

I’ve missed you so! Can you send me an email because I will have to be communicating by my phone for the next month. We are moving, and are temporarily roughing it in a cabin in the woods. I’m calling it our adventure! We should find out if we get the rental we want this week but it’s not available until 4/1/22. I’m looking for a Renewal cloth- Something Native American in spirit. I’m feeling a change in my life as I turn 60 in a few days and with the move comes new beginnings. Not sure if that makes much sense, but if any of your pieces give that feel, please recommend. I will take a lookie too! ❤
