this has been sitting Out here to my left for months. i barely look at it. don't really like it….the large piece…it's largness, its shape. But i also haven't moved it away. today i looked. and wondered. What was i thinking? Why did i do this? It must have been a significant thought because i gave it the square of Toad Egg cloth.
so i looked long and changed it. Trying to know.
I the bottom, changed, photo, I see large boulders on the bottom (on my mind a bit?!!) and a butterfly, upper left. As for the toad egg square…Mmmm…

When I enlarge the photo, the colors in the large photo are so beautiful, they so strongly speaks to me of mesas, of the colors of the land formations here in New Mexico…maybe, it did to you when you first placed it and it holds sense memory?

Either way, the first thing I think of when I see it is a chicken with blue legs, pecking the ground. But I do like the second version better.
I don’t understand the bit about Toad Egg cloth.
The rock is … I don’t have a word, but I can imagine it once being an amulet worn around some ancient person’s neck.
