I do wish I could believe this to be possible, that there is some over-arching benevolence … to cut through the thrum of dread … war, misogyny, racism, gun violence, climate change, floods, droughts, wildfires … on and on and on

i am trying to understand the SENSE of it….
it’s not really benevolence. All the things you name of the Thrum…and what a great word that is…all those things…
they belong to us, to humanity, Only and Specifically, to US. They are ours. We are making choices, as a species.
and the REST, all other life forms must live with those choices, continue in their presence, in our presence.

so beyond our limited maturation as a species???? is that a way to say it? I don’t know….my mind is small
But It offers space and possibility????? for anything at all to occur
the continuation of Life being the only …..the only….

I think your Intelligence is very much the same as God is to me. Beyond our comprehension and even the tiny bit I think I understand is a wordless understanding and so difficult to explain, especially if I’m trying to type (because my brain is so much faster than word formation and definitely faster than typing).
Maybe the “desired outcome” is not so much the continuation of life as our total harmony and cooperation with all life. Something we definitely have not come close to attaining.
