There were 7 blossoms.   This one remained and now……..oh……….now…………………look!   ~Pomegranate~ !    Planted  the first year here and never having gotten this far before.   Maybe………………………….?

and Emrie is back in gymnastics class.   there was an accidental pause and she is so thrilled to be back.   AND

her coach this time,  her coach this time is a young woman with Down Syndrome.  How so so great is that.?!

Alyssia said that one of the kids kept fooling with a doorknob of a closet like door,  tho being asked not to.  Finally,  the coach said "in a loud but monotone  voice,  a flat expression on her face"……."leave it alone!   it's where we keep the monsters".

The miracle of poms…how they look, the juicy seeds and the colors you get from using the skin for dyeing cloth. Years ago I was given poms to do just that: Put some skins in a rusty enamel pot and got deep purple; put some skins in a cast iron pot and got black, put some skins in a copper pot and got a wonderful gold color.
How good that Emrie is back in gymnastics, monsters or not! When will she start kindergarten?

we got a dwarf pomegranate last fall … I doubt it will bloom this first year, but I’d love to be wrong about that …

somewhere I saw little net bags tied around the baby fruit to protect them from bugs and birds.

The bees and hummingbirds are going crazy right now with the pom blossoms blooming. Love that retort with the monsters!

Mmmm… pomegranates. Such a pretty flower, too.
Teehee, monsters. Some children might be tempted to look, though.
