my body. my self. can barely hold this photograph. Firefighters….they are singular extraordinary human beings. who become crazy with it. it consumes them. when there is threat here, they gather forces at the Lakeside Grocery just down the way, there's a large parking lot full of their trucks. Cal Fire, Forest Service it becomes a bub. which is selfish of me…is so near by
Yosemite. the Mariposa Grove. Sierra Nevada California. Washburn Fire. a Tree there, Sequoia, thought to be 2,000 to 3,000 years old. Just stop. Think of this. a tree. 2,000 or 3,000 years old. Stop. Think this.
