when I click the photos, they open up so I can see them. The lavender/brown block is beautiful. Is the top one dyed with walnut? It looks great!

The first photo, the markings, OH YES, love this because it is what I so hope to achieve every time I make a bundle: how the cloth will receive the foraged materials, the water, etc.And you made an excellent point in the previous post about how water, earth, foraged materials and their location, all matter in terms of what the cloth receives. You and I often spoke of this, how although we both live (d) in New Mexico, both using old white cotton, both using very similar foraged materials, similar pots or glass jars, even hanging the cloths outside to dry, still the water, our sources, even the wind that dried our cloth gave us different results…I learned to not get ahead of myself and anticipate an outcome but just to marvel in the alchemy that occurred…
