off and on i've tried to find it.     There's so much on this cone…but lately i think….what if i run out?   There will be a lot of kantha on  those quilts.  i have no clue how to judge Amount.   So,  if anyone who is familiar with these things knows how i can get another cone???????  i will be eternally grateful.   it is so fine and so strong.

I have purchased yarns from Colourmart Yarns (England) ~ will get some links for you. I know Colourmart is on Facebook, Instagram, and Ravelry.
I’ll also make a quick check of the current website(s) he has currently, and take a look for this specific yarn. Sometimes it takes a goodly while for his stock/inventory listings to load. I’ll get back to you either here, or email. Beautiful cone of yarn – I’ll also take a look to see what silk threads I may have – sent quite a lot “onward” in the last year or so! Camel…such a wonderful color to work with.
Do not want you to run out of yarn/thread, no ma’am! good thinking of you, to look ahead!

You might also consider emailing them as I noticed an email address and attach the photo of your silk cone to help them identify this thread.

I have some thread like that, very little. Iit was a mill sample from my textile days. This is what they call a mill end, looks like their label is placed over the original mill label. Mills sell their leftover threads when there is too little left to use or if they are spinning samples. I believe, if my memory serves me, Colourmart buys up these leftover lots and resells them to the craft trade. Many times, when they run out, that’s it. Unless they are connected to a supplier that is still producing the product. Anyway, the quality will vary depending on what their source is.

This sounds like a lead that might or might not be a dead end … looks like ISM Ltd (on the underneath label) made silk neckties, so the remnant theory would support this as a source … peeling back the Colourmart label to reveal more info might be helpful

it’s a color that Works. There’s a proper Term for it,
this neutral that doesn’t cause any comotion no matter where it is, that is compatable to the extent that it is like camouflagued with anything and everything

as above to Tina…it is just the BEST thread and it’s
    STRONG
and delicate enough to pass through the eyes of those needles
