in the  mail from my friend Bill in  New Mexico.   The huge old Cottowood in front of his house.  There was WIND.

this would be from last year…she will need to begin  again  come spring….search,  gather,  carry,  weave.  Their llamas and horses.   So many memories of all the years there….am so so Glad i finally went.   Left Michigan,  Oregon, Arizona,  Michigan again….  and lived there.   i was telling Alyssia the other day how when i used the old Toyota truck Sonny,   we could load 9 two string bales of the grass hay i bought from them…..these Goats are made of his hay,  their hooves and bones.    We think about how maybe we can get him up and running again.   Since i bought that minivan vehicle,   he has rested under , near oaks and hanging pine.    Would need things.   oil change,  filters and fluids.   Battery is dead.     Maybe.   a  1983 Toyota 1/2 ton long bed.    We can no longer use the old Cowboy's  pick up…can't meet emissions requirements,  not possible to correct that.   this is California.    i kept a current N Mex license for Sonny,  he is insurred.   He doesn't meet emmissions standards by a long shot either,  but is legal.  sorta.   ???  i keep waiting for someone to say No…the plate tags and insurance both from Socorro.   But they keep mailing them.    so far.     Maybe i am to be like this bird.   Just Do it.   ….where'd my Moxie go?

Nests are little miracles to me. Eagles have strong miracles. All beautiful.

Such a beautiful nest… My dad once found a nest made with caulking from a boat that a hummingbird had collected.
