i  can't turn it.   orient it.   Typepad just won't.  so ok.   it needs to be here anyway…Journal page   IMPORTANT  so here then.  This way.  these are the piles of branches and twigs that need to be dealt with.   Fire fuel.   it is forcast rain all this week.  They gathered them and on last weekend covered with the tarps.   Rain will make all earth wet.   as safe as can be for fire.   Burn these

piles this coming weekend.   All the larger pieces were set along the road for the Chipper Program.    These are for us to deal with.    That paragraph wasn't intended.   this is a mess,   this post….i give.   Done for now.

    This worked. That pile must smell so good! We had a moment of slushy hail and now it is raining and windy. What will we wake to? A mystery!

    It is cold…there, here, but we are warming up, will be in the 50’s until Thurs, nights 30’s and 20’s, more weather on the way Sunday. Stay warm, if possible, make soup…as I say this, I have soup, taken from the freezer, hearty veg soup with spinach, tomatoes, garbanzo beans and when reheated, I will add a splash of red wine, my Dad’s trick.

    the piles of tree limbs in the Austin area are amazing … today’s newspaper says an estimated 10.5 million (million!!) trees were damaged during the ice storm

    When I click on the photo, it rights itself. Strange. We have cold temps for awhile here, and a little snow. I made veggie soup stock. Now to turn it into soup.
