had gotten  damp.   spread it out to dry and when holding,   thought

maybe i'll make more leaves…just to remember how that feels.   The basket of Deb Lacativa's threads always on this Table…tomorrow i'll thread the needle.   i can't remember how long it's been,   or all the reasons why it's been so long?   Realize the Drift has been with me longer than i'd thought.   So,   Tomorrow.   ???????

Yes, more leaves: looking at the cloth on the screen without enlarging the photo, the leaves look as if they are drawn, soft colors everywhere. When the photo is enlarged, the stitched leaves explode across the top, all individual but collectively, a galaxy that dances across the top of the right side of the cloth and they fill the senses with such beauty…

Thanks to Marti, who is such a careful reader and viewer, I too enlarged the image … and so “yes” to the leaves … they look like a joy to stitch

I enjoyed enlarging the leaves too. I’ve been going through some stuff lately – sometimes I don’t remember or recognize the person I was at that time. Feeling I want to focus!

I remember this one growing…The crow, an old friend.
Hold it, hold it close once more.
