B Garden.   there is dissaray.   it looks exactly how it's been….alone,  to itsSelf for the last couple months.   I righted chairs,  landscape pots.   some wire trellis'.    the small patch of clover has exponentially grown.   ?    .    Crepe Myrtle in the big landscape pot is full of new leaf buds.   Maybe the fig?   Yarrow is lush.   Everything is covered with pine needles.   Most of all,  the Soaproot.   Many.  Most beauty full,  their rippled leaves and i think how they will create those slender stalks of flower that appear lit with fairy light in the dark….     B Gardem is remembering itsSelf.

i missed Tay who would have placed herself with whatever stick just up the hill of it,   watching as i did whatever i did.    3 crows circled,  the wind chime tinkled with no wind,   but i missed her.   her physical presence.   and that's how it's going to be.

the second day of Sun.

Missing the physical presence…say her name, Tay, out loud, you can still do that, say her name into the wind and because this is how I believe, close your eyes, say her name and you will feel her beside you,in the most gentle and loving way.
Your 2nd day of sun, and this morning, we wake up to snow: Got up a little before 4 am this morning, stepped out the front door into snow…want so much to get my Baker’s Creek Heirloom seeds in the ground as I did not start seedlings in peat pots, wanting to directly sow into the ground.
SO I hold that deep green of the soaproot in my mind because today, March 17, is the wearing of the green. When my darling grandson was about 4 yrs old and I was telling him about this day, he looked at me, grew quiet and then said in a loud voice, “But GrandMa you always wear green so you don’t need a special day!”
Now an Irish country blessing for those who garden and who raise animals:
    “May you have,
    No frost on your spuds,
    No worms on your cabbage,
May your goats give plenty of milk,
And if you inherit a donkey,’
    May she be in foal.”

Love those rippled leaves…and you Grace. I love you. I understand the missing. Even all of these years later, I miss my mama being here, her presence, here, with me. I understand. Take care ❤️
