And Charlie is 8. I like considering their numbers rather than my own.

All three attuned to each other – interbeing as Thich Nhat Hanh says.

Oh to be that young again! I feel as old as the earth these days! I am glad she is providing youthful energy and love to the beings of the Hill and all others in her wake!

Long day…but I come here, after this long day away, and here she is on the Hill and I remember when she was born and now she is almost six. And her brother Julian, so close in age to my twin grand kids; they all will soon be 14 …

Grace what an amazing childhood you all have given Emrie … she is one very lucky little girl. It is heartbreaking how many of our children we are loosing in all these crazy mass shootings. Sorry for going there but today it’s hard not to.

i went with Alyssia yesterday to pick Emrie up from school…it’s so Busy out there…all the cars lined up, the parents waiting on the benches and out front and the bell rings and the children FLOW out, all of them, FLOWING Out
Emrie with her rainbow dress and Martin and his Dad walking back to our cars…them in front of us, and Emrie calling to him, saying…this is my great grandma, Martin, and he turns, and i say OH so happy to see you Martin! and he smiles through tears that were flowing from something in his day…dear Martin, still struggling….
His dad looks so young
and Martin still works at being a kindergardner
i thought about Nashville and all before, i thought about how it is a HUGE act of Courage to send these kids to school anymore…..EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee HOW HAS
THIS HAPPENED?????!!!!!!!
sending Emrie to
school
Julian loves home school.
Emrie would wither. She LOVES school, she loves Everything, needs Everything. Trusts everything.
i looked at it all and …….felt so much Love.
and felt so helpless in the face of how things have becomeLikeLike

Six. Goodness. I remember the picture of her in Alyssia’s arms at the ‘pink pussy parade’!
I hope that Martin gets a second chance at Kindergarten. I’m glad he acknowledged you with a smile. That’s because of Emrie, and you telling him how happy you were to see him! god, I love that!
My useful little superpower was volunteering, and working, with the kids who needed a little (or a lot) of encouragement and one-on-one.
Whatever Emrie ends up doing as an adult, she will be fabulous. That is my word for her. You four girls are wonderful.LikeLike
