they all went in search of a place for sledding.    and found it.    Elevation is magic.  Butte  Meadows.    Emrie's  snow being.

A wonderful, wispy, magical snow being whose arms make me think of dancing; long limbs swaying overhead…
Yes elevation is everything: When our twin grand kids were four years old, they came to New Mexico for the first time. We all rode the tram up to Sandia Peak and at 10,000 ft, they were delighted to find snow. They had seen snow before but had never made a snow being so of course, they did…trekking around for small fir branches for limbs, tiny rocks for eyes, a small pine cone for a nose… Snow + children =magic! but that equally applies to grownups because their Grandpa taught them how to make snowballs and well, you can guess the rest. I still think of the shudder I felt as a snowball went down my sweater to the delight of my grandson!

Oh that’s fun! It’s the same here. We can drive up the mountain to get to the snow.

A snow outing – all the fun with none of the shoveling! I’m glad Emrie had this experience.

    Yay!
I heard The Grapevine was doing escorts earlier today, but it is fairly clear and super windy here now. (((hugs)))

Snow being is fun. Magical for playing! Yes, Grapevine can be hairy.
