blooms forming

20230429_170912

Soap root.   soon,   they will be ready and  bloom,  in late evening and on through the night.  Moths will come.   Closing with morning light.

Amidst an ecstatic rush of all manner of Grasses.    As if all and any seed had waited,  dormant,  sleeping  through the drought years for just this moment in time to burst and grow and MAKE SEED.   It's Glorious,  i sit and just watch them move in response to the slightest breeze,   i don't know how to tell of the FeltSense of this,  what it does for and in my human body,  my human heart

What you express here fits so well with Grateful Living’s word for the day:
“Peace is letting go—returning to the silence that cannot enter the realm of words because it is too pure to be contained in words.”

plants move too slowly … or more likely, we move too quickly to fully appreciate them … that a seed can lie unseen for years, and then sense the time is right to put down roots and grow … that the plant itself can move not just with wind, but to take full advantage of sun and shade … that a bank of seeds can determine which seeds will germinate and which seeds will continue to wait … that a group of plants can share space and make room for new plants in succession … surely they are communicating, having a native intelligence that is beyond our comprehension … working in commune-ity

I think of time…things take the time they need.

i think how they have been here, all along, and how i knew that but had
    no need
but when i have need, they teach about Time
