    I was thinking curly dock but ours here have darker reddish/ brown seeds…..

    My first thought was dock. I’ve dyed with it before, got a light tan on cotton. Maybe the seeds darken with age?

    really unique plant beings! Here in PNW, willow-leaved dock is considered a native plant, perennial. Interesting to watch through the seasons. https://tinyurl.com/y6xbbpf3
