so….it's not What is next , but rather my relationship to whatever it is. Which could be anything, everything.
the relationship. and this is why WAITing is the key. And Trust. Trust because i know i can, because there is So Much i know i can trust. I'll let it all rest here a while.
I take in your words and think of the lesson that I have learned over these past four months: Trust and waiting, for me, Trust IN Waiting has had a profound effect.
While situation specific, learning to open myself to the realization that I needed to rely on others, trust in them to help me with my husband’s health recovery, was a huge lesson. In the past two months, progress was not measured in leaps and bounds but in small, daily steps, in routines, done over and over. Waiting for the culmination of all of this was another huge lesson for intellectually, I knew that healing takes time but in my heart, I wanted it to be immediate!
Two weeks ago, Rich was discharged from nursing care and yesterday, one week ahead of the goats set for him by his physical therapist, he was discharged from needing further visits, having exceeded physical therapy goals. Life is not yet at the dancing in the streets stage, he has some other issues, but by accepting that trust in waiting, would lead us where we need to go, I am at least dancing around my home!

HA! Laura…I didn’t catch my misspelling of goal, but since I met many of grace’s goats when she lived in New Mexico, they are always frolicking in the back of my mind! Thanks for your kind wish.
